It Started with a Favour… and Turned into My Dream Job
I didn’t exactly plan to do this job. It all started when my two best mates asked me to officiate their wedding. And honestly… they made a really good call.As arrogant as it sounds, I nailed it.
The ceremony was everything it should’ve been: beautiful, funny, heartfelt, and completely them. It had all the warmth and tradition you’d expect, but with a twist that made it feel fresh and personal. The tone was spot on, exactly as we’d discussed.
The feedback after that first ceremony was so overwhelmingly kind — from guests, experienced suppliers, even the venue team — that I thought, “Alright, maybe this is what I’m meant to do.”
Now, I get to create ceremonies that are fun, relaxed, and full of heart — the kind that make your guests laugh out loud one moment and tear up the next.
Every single time I stand beside a couple as they say “I do,” I still get that same buzz I felt at my friends’ wedding. It’s an honour I’ll never take for granted, and I’ll give everything to make sure your ceremony is one that your guests won’t stop talking about for years.
